Cleaning and dying head is the easiest way to bring an old head back to life. To clean a head just take some hot water and a sponge and brillo and go to work.
The single color fade is a really clean dye that does not look too outrageous and has a really class look. It works great in team colors. I prefer the fade from the bottom of the head as seen in the picture because it is done less often and the dye will not wear on the scoop like it normally does.
